The staff and volunteers at the Disability Information Bureau have been awarded a 'Two Ticks' for being positive about employing disabled people.
The award was presented to Mike Westcott, chairman of the DIB, by Disability Employment Officer Damien Capper. The charity is one of the first in the area to be presented with the
award as part of the new Two Ticks scheme. Only six businesses in the Macclesfield area have actually applied to be recognised by the Employment Service as 'positive about employing disabled people'.
